Yes, this could certainly cause the issue. ![]() When that is on, Windows will expect certain hardware to be at the same addresses as it was to a prior startup and will freak out if it isn't. Make sure that memory timings are set to auto and that XMP is off, so that the UEFI/Bios can adjust to the speeds/timings of the slowest stick.Īlso, if you have Windows 10, make sure that fast startup is off before you start messing with hardware.
